    I'm looking for a company that handles OverDrive Retrofits for my 49 Chevy Truck with torque tube drive. I have a How to Restore Chevy Truck book that list a co. in Oh. (OverDrive Inc) but can't seem to laocate them. Maybe out of Bus. Thanks

    I have a 1950 Chevy truck
    Saginaw converted 4 speed
    3.55:1 rear cardan Exchange
    Torque tub axle.

    Used a tremendes lot of time to find out about this spesific subject. The only Vendors that can deliver a good functioning OD depending on what GM gearbox you have offcourse are ;

    http://www.fordification.com/tech/torque-splitter.htm

    http://www.advanceadapters.com/categories/ranger-torque-splitter/236/

    http://www.gearvendors.com/custom.html

    The Universal torque tub kit from Gear Vendors is expensive but of high quality and easy to instal.
    The advance adapter solution OD is a bolt on to Your Saginaw 3 -4 speed. Munchie SM420 or SM465 gearbox. The price is excapteble .
