Just wondering how to protect the fresh paint on the step when getting into the truck. What have others done?

I am having Rhino liner put on the flat surface and up the inside of the running board where my toe would hit. That way I will never worry about scuffing it. Another idea that I heard was to put step tread on it like you see on outside steps. If sticks on and lasts a long time. I hear you can get it in rolls at some paint stores. I was going that route till I decided on the Rhino liner.
    Good luck,
    Bill
