How rare are these trucks in our years? There is one for sale here and its in pretty decent shape. Price wise what do you all think? I'll try to get some pics of it. Its a 64 panel short bed, if there is such a thing.
Rare is a relative term. They are out there. The price is usually comprobable with pickups of equal shape. Rear doors are what you need to look at. THEY are getting pretty scarce as well as the door latches and mechanisms. Taillights are shared with the Carryall's of the same years. Other than that, all the parts are interchangable with the pickups. Check the lower rear 1/4 panels for rot as well as those rear doors. The sheetmetal around the taillights is paper-thin. Any problems in this area will give a bodyman fits. Val
Thanks Val, I'm going to call the owner today and go look at it. I looked at it last night, it looked very good. But that was in the dark. Popped the hood and it has a inline 6. Thanks for the info to watch out for. Let you all know later what I did, and post some pics. Jeremy
Well I didn't get any pics. The guy wants $6000 obo. Its in real great shape, but I better finish my 61 before it gets jealous!!
