Hey guys , Being from Virginia We have to have both front and back licens plates on our vehicle ,vintage or not (I know "that sucks") but anyway I have been looking for plates for my '48 pickup and so far the closest thing i have found is made from cardboard (1944) so for all of u plate x-perts , is there sush a thing ? 1936's and 37's are metal also 53's but i cannot seem to locate '48's But it would help if i knew what i was looking for , do i take a magnet or what? And if any body has a set or 1 of what i need (truck or car) I am interested in buying something for my truck. Here in VA. we can register any plate of the year of the vehicle (1948) VA plate to the vehicle for vintage status. Thanx! Mike
