tech 1 i am trying to put a 77 chevy disc brake setup under my 65 stepside swb. I,ve got the spindles mounted with new ball joints. The outer tie-rod is now the inner. The new outer tie-rod is from 77. My question is..... Is part# CP4SC the special adapter to make the two tie-rod ends come together safely? I have sent numerous e-mails to various people and have gotten no replies. I am begging to think that the lack of replies is do to it,s simplicity. If a reply is sent. I would like to thank you in advance.:-(
As long as your tierod is a 11/16 LH thread on one end and a 5/8 RH thread on the other you should be in business.
