OK. I've got my '68 C20 running with the rebuilt motor and everything is great. Except the temperature sensor. She has the stock in dash temperature gauge. The sensor from my local autoparts store goes straight up to hot as soon as I start her. I've tried a couple different ones with the same result. According to 'their' computers, this truck doesn't have a temp sensor. Anyone have a part number or source for the proper sensor? Alas, the old one disappeared with the old heads while I was off in Iraq last year, so I have nothing to compare with. Thanks in advance.
RE: Part number for temperature sen Hello, the GM # is 12334869 also on the box is G1852, give these numbers to your GM partsman or parts store person and you should be able to get your truck going good. Vince
