Patrick's ring and pinion

    Continuing on slow and steady with this upgrade. I have a question though, how did you guys get the pinion nut on at 200-240 lbs/ft? In Patrick's instructions he has the pinion in a vice but I cannot see where he is clamping on. Also, I am not sure I could clamp it that hard in my vice without damaging it.

    I am thinking I may take it to a machine shop to have them pput it on but I was hoping one of you has some tips. Thanks.

    Damn, wish i could remember how i did that nut up, my memory is just getting worse, i will look thru my instructions and try and jog the old grey cells:mad:
