My assistant, Kevin has a 54 235 in his 52 truck. Looking into proven ways to pep it up a bit. We are soon going to do the s10 5speed /4x4 rear conversion. Looking into 2 carb intake. Already has split header ( tube style). What works best?
Add an 848 head and a 261 cam then you will have the 54 Corvette engine (less 1 carb). Pertronix or HEI and shave the head to bring compression ratio up to 8.5 but no more with what we now call gas. Tune on a chassis dyno.
