Does anyone have a source or replacement for these pins used in the top 2 bolts holes of the trans as guides for pulling the transmission?

thanks, PUT_PUT

Tranny Guide Pins

What Russ said ! .

I always loose them after the job so each time I do a clutch , Imake up a new set .

Just take one tranny to bell housing bolt to the Hwe. Store and match it up , cut the head off with a hacksaw and chamfer the sharp edge a bit so the tranny slips right over it ~

This is one of those Journeyman tricks that ensures long clutch life .

What Nate said + cut a slot in the non-threaded end so you can use a screwdriver to back the pin out instead of trying to back it out with your greasy fingers.

Fwiw ;

If you're doing clutch work , you have no business having greasy/oily fingers ! .

:p
