I was e-mailed some super pictures and would like to pass them on so others on this site could see them. How do I do this? Thank you; Evan

Load them on photobucket, then copy and paste IMG code here.

Thank you Russ, but you are giving me W.A.A.A.Y too much computer smarts. I haven't the slightest on going from email to Photobucket with pics. Are you sure IMG, copy, and paste aren't some form of Chinese language? Any explanation has to be VERY basic which is hard I'm sure for old hands that are skilled on these ungodly frustrating machines.

    Evan,

When you are creating or replying to a thread - scroll down below the box where you type in your comments. Under the Additional Options area there are 4 boxes. The second is Attach Files. Click the Manage Attachments button. That will bring up a Window titled Manage Attachments. Click one of the Choose File buttons. At this point a window will pop up asking you to select the picture you want to upload. Navigate to the location on your computer that you have the picture stored and select it. One note here: This board will not allow you to upload a picture larger that 500kb. Once you have selected the picture click the Choose button in the lower right corner. This will bring you back to the Manage Attachments window. Click the Upload button in the same box where you see your picture's name. You'll see a message in the window saying File(s) Uploading - Please Wait. Once the upload is complete - you'll see your picture name under the Current Attachments heading. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a Close This Window button. Click the Close This Window button to return to the main window. Submit your reply. The picture will show up as you see it below.

    Hope this helps.

Go to www.photobucket.com and set up an account. Go to my images/ upload. click the upload button, then search the files in your computer, hold the control key to select multiple files, then click upload. When uploaded, run your mouse over the picture you want and several options will show up on the bottom. Select IMG code, right click and select copy. Click on your post over here and right click, then click paste. You will have full size images.

    Or ,

    The luddite way :

Once I have the pic on my screen , I right click it and select " SAVE AS : ~ choose desktop and I usually change the name to something I'll remember .

Then I come here and go to the afore mentioned " MANAGE ATTACHMENTS " bar below every post , click on that and choose " DESKTOP " , scroll that to the right until I see the name of the pic I allready saved and follow the same instructions given above .

It works for those of us who don't Ken the offsite storage rules .

Occasionally you'll have to delete all those pix on your desktop but that's a breeze .

I know I wrote this is better / greater detil a while ago right after I'd posted some pix .
