ok, my 64 had a power booster and master cylinder installed in the old cab. it is running 74+ c10 disc brakes up front and 12 bolt with drums in the rear. 5 lug swap. i bought a 66 with no motor/trans for parts to use the cab and whatnot and noticed when taking my 64 apart that the power booster swap was a hack job. they drilled 2 more holes for the extra 2 studs, and since they didnt go through far enough, didnt have nuts on them at all. now, i want to keep power brakes but dont want to hack the firewall. i found this adapter plate that looks like it would be perfect. has anyone here tried it? i want to know if it will mount it sturdy enough? im assuming itll be at least as well mounted as it was before, though id be surprised if it wasnt MUCH better.
