Power steering box for 64

Mounting power steering box form a 79-Chevy truck to my 64 Chevy truck. The question is should I notch the frame rail to fit the new box to the frame are spaces the box off the frame rail, which way should I go. Any one who has done this task please commit on what work for you please.

You will need the power steering conversion kit to get it mounted.
