i put a 283 motor in my 64 chevy that already has a power steering pump on it. i still have a manual gear box so i was wondering the best place to get a power steering gear box for the best price. Also, is the gear box all i need to have power steering? thanks in advance guys.
youll need a ez adaptor plate kit, can purchace here at classic parts. also hoses. make sure your pump and gear are compatible with the hoses ends, they changed up in later years. also will need to cut the flange off end of steering column and weld flange up higher, the ez adapter kit comes with all the instructions youll need. rather easy job, many of us here have done it.
