power steering up grade

Fellow Chevy owners, need your help. I have a 1962 Chevy 3/4 ton. 4x4,rencent install was a 86 model 305,700r4/lockup converter, the truck has a Dana 44 front and a 60 rear with 456 gears. This was big improvement for highway travel, engine rpms dropped from 2800 at 55mph to 1800 mph. Maybe this will help someone else. Now I wish to install power steering, any ideas as to what model vehicles power steering gear will fit my truck with little or no modifications ? Thanks

I don't know if this will do you any good. I inquired about that for for my '66 1/2 ton. There is a kit by Early American Classics (sorry guys at Chevy Duty). It is suppose to have the brackets and you incorporate a Saginaou 800 steering box out of around an 86 1/2 ton. I don't know if there is an equivalent swap with the newer 3/4 ton or not, but check with Early American Classics on that.
