power steering

    Wanting to go with power steering but am having trouble finding a PS pump that will mount on to my straight 6 292. Will any later model chevy PS set ups work with what I have? Thanks, Matt

    Didn't some of the old Chevy econline vans have an inline 6 with power steering.

    Matt, The pumps are available, it's the "brackets" that are had to find.

    Hit the wrecking yards, e-Bay, Craigs List,, looking for ANY Chevy vehicle, passenger or truck, from the 60's with a 292 AND power steering..

    Brackets from up to 1974 250-292 chevy will work. I found a set off a 73 250 from junk yard. Kilroy was here!!!!!
