The Mister Roadster wiring harness sold by Speedway for a $140 has all the features of ones costing hundreds more is a very good buy, good quality, and has some of the best installation instructions of any but I found a flaw. If you run any sender wire through the fuse box the gauge will show maximum reading due to a few ohms resistance. Easily cured by running the sender wires straight from the senders to the gauge but finding this took several hours and a bit of head scratching. There is no current in sender wires so having them fused is completely unnecessary anyway. If they short out they just give a maximum reading on the gauge and no chance of a fire.
