My oil gauge in my 1952 3100 series maxes out at 30 PSI. In a 1959 235 CID what is the oil pressure at which you shut off the engine as not to ruin it?

The 235 should hold 14 lbs at idle.If its much lower then that significant bearing and cam damage can occur. What pressure does it run at idle and what about 2000rpms?

It pegs the needle at 30 PSI, might bounce off the max for a half second at idle, thanks!
