Quick Firewall question: Is this correct?

    As I am working on the cab getting ready to prime etc before painting, wondered whether this tube is correct for my 51 3100? It seems like some sort of add on.

    That doesn't look ''stock'' to me. The only drain I'm aware of connects to the cowl vent and comes through the firewall a few inches below the cowl vent. The black hose in the upper left of photo. Hope this helps. Bill

    Not sure where, or who, but it has been suggested in an early conversation to seal the cowl drain and run the hose on the inside under the carpet and out the bottom to keep it from dripping on the valve covers. This may be a similar attempt, just not very well done.
