Should the bolts that go into the head that hold the rocker arms-

-have a locknut under the bolt?
    -have locktite on the threads?

Finally what toque value should I use on these bolts?

    Thanks in advance for replies,

There were no lock nuts under the rocker bolts on any of the three 235's that I disassembled in the process of finding one to build up for my project truck. However, I don't know for sure if they're supposed to be there.

I found this little chart on torque spec's in another forum, NOT from a shop manual. I've used the information for assembling my engine. Use at your discretion.

    main cap bolts 100-110
    bellhousing bolts 45-55
    flywheel bolts 50-65
    rod nuts 35-45
    oil pan corner bolts 12-15
    oil pan bolts 6-7
    clutch pressure plate bolts 25-30
    cylinder head bolts 90-95
    manifold clamp bolts 15-20
    manifold end clamp bolts 25-30
    water pump bolts 25-30
    spark plugs 20-25
    fuel pump bolts 15-20
    rocker shaft bolts 25-30

    Hope this helps.
