    As i promized i would be coming back on this issue and this is the answer i receaved yesterday from the compagny that produces these overdrives/underdrives.

    Some questions i have;

    As my truck has an closed torque tube would i be needing to shorten it when installing the O/D ?

    Will the sitting bench be in the way ?

    My hope is that some of you guys can help me out to verify if the outside diameter of the bearing retainer is 4.686” and the index hole in the bellhousing is also 4.686” ?

    Thanks .

    The Ranger O/D can be used with your Saginaw 4-speed transmission. The part # you should need is 760001M-27 I would have you verify the outside diameter of the bearing retainer is 4.686” and verify the index hole in the bellhousing is also 4.686” we can build the ranger with the smaller 4.686 or larger 5.125” index. Since all units are built to order the unit can be configured with a combo of the two indexes front and rear to work for you vehicle. Please let me know if you have any other ?’s
