Just had one of those "I can't believe I did it" episodes. On the 37 chev business coupe I posted a pic of we removed the body to frame bolts one by one to weld in the dimples that recess the body mount bolts to below the floor mat so there won't be bumps in the mat. With the last one finished it was time to turn it over on the rotissery to weld underneath and not one, not two, but three of us didn't have a little bell go off in our heads that we'd taken out all the body to frame bolts. Darrell Waltrip hasn't had a more spectacular crash. Let's just say the body passed the rigidity test and the coupe will no longer feature drip rails. Not about a truck but probably about an "oh,oh" we're all guilty of since guys that mess with the old iron are doers, not watchers.

Evan, Now I REALLY don't feel bad about my Bar-B-Qued breather cap or the "Duh!!!" feeling I had when the muncie fell off the jack onto my finger. Sorry for your mistake. Happy nobody got hurt. Metal can be fixed. Sometimes flesh cannot. Andy
I am glad no one got hurt as well. My neighbor has a 66 Mustang (I know. I didn't say he had good sense.) on one of those things right now. Boy were we worried the first time we gave it a spin. Just remember the only ones not making mistakes are in the grave yard. Lets be sure to not end up there when we make one.
Whoops There Goes.... OOPS ! Pretty much all professionals have done a boo-boo or two , the real pros don't sweat about it as life goes on , no one got hurt , right ? . Too bad about the drip rails tho' ~
