Help guys. I want to center my rear end in my 53 Chevy pickup. Needs to go back about 4 inches. Anyone out there know if I need to rotate springs, or replace. What's the fix.

This is the original frame, drive train?
I know they make an offset plate that pushes the original pin back an inch and a half, but 4" seems a bit much. (like new driveshaft much)

1.5 to 2 inches centers it. Springs can be turned 180 degrees or center bolt hole re-drilled FORWARD of factory hole. Adapter plate Zig mentioned is better. It does move a total of 3-4", if you count how much it's moved from the factory center line---2" more back from the front and 2" less forward from the rear. Measure from center bolt to spring eye both front and rear to see the difference.

You can remove the offset spring mounts from the original torque tube axle & weld them to the new axle & everything will easily line up.
