try Jim Carters in Kansas city, MO. here is the link: http://www.oldchevytrucks.biz/47_55/t1.asp

This is where i got my center bow piece. Not sure if they have the rear ones, but I did go there and pick it up and they have tons of used parts in their basements, so they may just have what you are looking for.

Sonny~ I LOVE your avatar! Anybody wreck their car when they pass by your house? I can just hear the guys wife right now... "Honey! Keep your eyes on the road!!! LOOK OUT!!!!!"
Husbands comment before driving into the back end of a parked car... "Wow~ LOOK at that beautiful '55, and that beautiful fifty-fou..."

Thanks Zig. the truck is a '55 also. It is on a '88 s-10 chassis done with a A-D Engineering kit.I had been thinking about it for a while, then I saw Evan's truck on A-D's website and decided to go for it.It has a 350 & a 700-r4.I've had 2 with a 6 cyl. One had o.d. trans. Just thought that I'd try something different.I grew up with 6 cyl's with dual carbs, split manifolds and Isky E2cams in the late 50's and early 60's .Just have to have a project of somekind.

    350 ad

Hi Sonny. How much is the enjoyment factor of the 350 over the inline 235. I think an inline 292 would be perfect but the price on 350s cant be beat. I expect to keep the 235 but think I would like dual carbs and a T5 overdrive transmission. With GM now standing for Government Motors it does look like they would bail out us AD owners a $1500 stimulas check would get me duals and a T5. Maybe if we partion the gov?

    MY Vote :

Oddly enough , is for a nice long stroke 292 C.I.D. InLine 6 banger as it's a true TRUCK engine ~ torquey and powerful , plenty of pep and of course , it's different when you pop the hood .

Anyone can plop in a SBC mill , that's why they call 'em " Belly Buttons " ~ 'cause EVERYONE has one ! :D .

As the Mexican Chevy truck plant used it for the standard engine into the 1990's , GM sold them as " Target " replacement engines , in crates , very affordably , cheaper than doing a full rebuild in fact .

As I said before,I've had a couple of A-d's .This one is a real pleasure to drive.Disc brakes ,power steering, tilt wheel and automatic OD trans. As far as the engine goes I would be just as happy with a six. I had the 350 and 700-r4
trans.I sold the '55 chassis and running gear to a friend who wanted restore his grand pa's A-D for enough to rebuild the 350 and trans and buy a S-10 4x4 rear end.I still have to install the new door glass and windshield and hook up the A/C.

Classic Parts have glass real cheep. Seems like a door glass was 28$ & 30-min to install
