Trying to install the rear window glass on the small back window 59. The new gasket has been wrestled into place in the opening. That was a chore in itself! Installing that gasket was like trying to force a boa constrictor into a straight line.
We have a cord inside the window channel on the gasket. What are the tips and tricks to make this job easier?

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hey Chris,

The small windows should be the easy ones. Anyway, Lots of soap-e water, I mean lots, It would help to have a warm place to work the window gasket works better when it's soft. Also their is a special tool to help with the installation. I don't think you need the string for that one. Just the front windshield, buy the way the installation of the front windshield was the hardest thing I done so far. (LOL) . If you need the tool I have one I will send to you just send it back. Or you can buy one for around 7 bucks. Take your time, soap it up and try with out the string. work the top in last.
