REBUILDING A 1948 GMC TRUCK

My name is Tom, I live is San Diego, and currently doing a groud-up on a 1984 GMC truck. Where can I get motor parts and does anyone now where a good parts house is? Also, Where can I get the colors for the truck inside/out? Thanks for all the help.. Tom

Chevy duty as well as other places sell books on chevy/gmc history of trucks. You can get color info from these publications.

I agree with Craig as to where to get parts. You can also try some of the junk yards in the Chula Vista area. Plenty of them there. The 48 to 54 is a favorite of that particular area.
