Does anybody have any ides for rechroming misc trim parts for my truck?

Get your wallet out. I know good chroming costs a LOT. Driver-quality chroming will still make your head spin. The EPA watches those places with a keen eye. Same with "chemical derusting" outfits.

Go to some places where Harley guys hang out and ask the ones who have custom chroming .
Take along a pencil and pad of paper and pay close attention to the places they tell you NOT to use, this is more important than whom to use .
Sometimes OTR truckers or shops will know the best local place .
I fear my local place is gone, the old guy running it was no spring chicken but he sure did lovely chroming .
