I began work on my '53 Chevy half-ton pickup eleven years ago. It's survived 3 mechanics, and after tons of research and financial investment it's finally done. With the exception of 6- to 12-volt changeover plus wood-grained body bed, this truck is as close to the original as you can get with all the options offered in 1953.
