    Hello all,

On my 54 there is a red light at the top of my speedometer. It comes on when the headlights are turned on. It is not the high beam indicator as it is at the bottom of the speedo. I'm thinking that it's not a check engine light ;) What is it?

My thought is this: First of all - yes I am old - but not old enough to comfortably drive around with my turn signals on - for ever... The turn signal switch hides conveniently behind the steering wheel spoke. I'd like to wire the the light on the indicator switch to the red light on the top of the speedo. I should be able to see this.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers!

Looks like the speedometer is installed upside down.

Owners Manual - Hmmmm. I looked all through the shop manual and didn't even think to look in the owners manual:eek:

Looks like I've got a bit of wiring clean up to do. - At least my idea is a good one...\

BTW - what is the first link? I get a "Forbidden" message.

    Cheers!
