    Hey, everyone -

We're getting ready to pull the motor and the gauges. I've read all of the cautionary notes about not destroying the capillary tube for the temp sensor. So, how the heck to you remove the thing from the block? We backed out the nut (or whatever it's really called) and thought that it would be as simple as pulling the tube out. No such luck. Is the fitting press-fit into the block? If so, what's the trick to getting it out? We didn't want to yank on the thing and break it ...

    Uh, never mind ...

In the words of Emily Litella - never mind!

It dawned on me that I have a spare motor to play with, and it and it's tube was already cut. That one pulled out very easily. A little penetrating oil cut through the crud, and I'm on to the next project. In other words: stay tuned for more silly questions.

Remember....there are no stupid questions, only stupid people who ask them.

We all miss the obvious from time to time don't sweat it.
