    Hello guys!

Im new in the Chevy world and have just started to work on my new project, Chevrolet 1949 3600 truck. Now I want to remove the gastank to clean it out. But how do I take away the front seat? I cant get it out of the rails.

    Let me know, thanks! ;)

    Martin,

The lower seat cushion should just be able to be pushed towards the rear to compress the whole cushion rearward. There is a smooth metal clip that holds it in place. Once its far enough back to clear the seat frame, just pull up. So easy, Advanced Design from the 40's. The rear cushion may have two screws on the upper portion of the frame in the rear.
