I had a pretty nice all original truck until I got basically t-boned by a lexus going 45MPH. Here's the result after repairs and repaint. It's painted code 16u "graystone metallic" off of an '08 silverado. Figured I'd put up some pics since I got a lot of stuff from Classic parts and I like showin it off:D.

    Here's the wreck damage:

that is one slick truck you got there, hard luck on the wreck but atleast it was repairable and you were ok, but it looks like you got it all under control now :)

Nice looking truck. When reinstalling your drip rails what did you use for gaskets?

    Thanks Guys!

    David Hall:
This time I bought new drip rail retainers and they already had foam single sided tape on them, cut to fit and ready to install. When I reuse the ole ones, I just put a small black RTV bead in the middle of it and OVER the bolt holes and it's never given me problems.

    Esev:
Those old mirrors were one of the things that drove me crazy. I didn't like the look of em, and while the heads matched, the RH side had a ford lookin bracket, and the LH side had a big tripod. I hated that. It's gone now though!

I've updated things a bit since I was here last time.

I got some 18x8.5 Raceline Renegade 8 Wheels and some 275/70R18 BFG Tires. They're basically 33x11.50's

Dang this thread is old. For this thread to still be at the top, this forum must not see too much activity.

Hey 78 chevyrado, where did you get your truck painted? I never found a competent body shop in my life.
