My 56 3100 has a 79 Camaro Z-28 front clip and tired rear springs. I added helper springs on the rear, but it still sits low. I would like to raise the truck by 2-4 inches in the front and rear. I was thinking of using the lift blocks from my FLAPS on the rear. It has a 79 Camaro rearend mounted under the springs. Should I just bite the bullet and buy new leaf springs instead? On the front, my new JC Whitney catalog lists MM852183 Extra High Lift Front Coil Springs that are supposed to raise the Camaro frontend by 3-4 inches. Any suggestions, please?
new springs in the rear - stock would raise it up for you. for the front consider the carrera coil over conversion kit. it is adjustable i think 3 to 4 inches up and down. check their web site. i put them on my 81 trans am front clip and have plenty of clearance.
