Rims

I have a 1979 GMC K1500 4x4. I would like to replace the stock GMC 6-stud rims. I have access to a set of rims from a 1993 GMC 4x4 and was wonering if there would be any reason I couldn't mount them on my truck. I haven't tried to do it yet - to cold and too much snow to take it on right now. The rims would dress the truck up quite a bit especially with the chrome rings and all.

Any comments would be appreciated.

same bolt pattern the only issue would be back spacing- watch to see if it will catch on the caliper.
