    Hi,
I am restoring my 59 Apache and try to replace my front window and a new rubber. Can someone tell me how to start? For example, rubber on the window? Rubber on the truck? Start upper side? Start below?
    The rear wasn't a problem.
    thanks Rick

    Hey Rick,
I have 57 Chev,,if its the same type of seal,, You need to get the seal on the glass first. Take some twine or bailing rope and run it around the inside track of the rubber,,overlap the rope ends,,,,,,set the glass on the window frame bottom first,,, with one out to push on glass firmly. (spray some soapy water around rubber etc...) whil other person inside gently pulls rope to open the rubber seal lip inside the window frame)
Not sure if this makes sense? but hope it helps a bit,,
    Shawn
