My running boards have 6 holes on the step on the inside edge. See attached picture. Are these factory or did a previous owner add these for some reason? Before I fill them, I want to make sure they weren't needed for something. Thanks. Attachments: https://talk.classicparts.com/images/attachments/4400f2e209b0c3ba.jpg
Definitely not factory. Could someone think that drain holes might help? Is this the one that's going to be burnt orange? On the orange truck you helped me with the picture you can maybe see the 3M Shutz we spray on the tread area and seal against gas spillage with black urethane over the Shutz. It's very wear resistant and keeps up the appearance rather than the factory painted ones where any gravel on a shoe bottom scratched the devil out of them.
Thanks for the answer and tips. Yes, this is the truck I am going to paint Burnt Orange. I have only painted the firewall so far. Attachments: https://talk.classicparts.com/images/attachments/4401f6f30a6c6817.jpg
