i have a 83 chevy scottsdale 4x4, the rego says its a c-10 but i thought that C was 2wd and K was 4wd?? whats type of axles are in this truck?
You are correct about C and K series. I would check the VIN (http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cc/full.aspx?Page=12). Could be that someone at the DMV typed it in wrong or someone changed the body. If it is an '83 K10, it should have 10 bolts front and rear. If it's older it might have a Dana 44 and a 12 bolt rear; but a lot of things could have happened in 25 years.
