    The Old Box Movies in black and white.

    Nice to watch Nate.
    To mention a buddy of mine owns a Bel Air car like the one in the movee and i sometimes visit him at his home. Next time i will take some photos to show what kinda US cars he has in his garage.
    One of his favorite is an AD truck offcourse.

    I whas just a kid growing up with my famely in many foreign countrees. When black and white tv came in 1964 in Our house my dad whas a military attache at the ambasade in Djakarta. Al kids in the nabourhood where gethered in the living room on the floor to watch the first broadcast from the Philips tv. Remember my dad installed a home made antenna with wiring and Clips on the curtain rail to make it work:)
    In Indonesia people whom could efford one used american cars but few had them. My dad owned a military willys jeep , a Fiat Topolino, his military Harley WL 750 and an Indian Chief 1946.

    I love the old Box black and white Movies With Laurel & Hardy , Charlie Chaplin and others to.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Old Movies

    I still get a kick out of watching this stuff , sadly I was still Down East when I were a wee laddie traveling 'round America .

    What year is the Harley ? WWII ones were 90 + % WLA : 45" FlatHeads , nice Motos but rather slow on the open highway .

    My folks decided we didn't need a TV set , better we learned to read well , I still prefer reading to watching TV but all the movies on cable are very nice indeed .

    Do you have TMC there ? this is but one of the vintage only movie channels we have on basic cable in the U.S. .

    Martinius,

    TMC = The Movie Channel

    It's a cable/satellite network here in the US that shows classic movies.
