serial number decode

I picked up another truck. i had found a serial number decoder (not vin) once but cant seem to find it now.
can someone tell me where i can run my serial number?
the serial number is: 6GR-E

Jackel, the Stovebolt site has a couple of "VIN" or serial number decoders in the "tech tips" section.

BTW, your serial number decodes as a 1949 3/4 ton truck built in Oakland, California in May of 49.
