Got everything in place now so heavier brackets and finish welding should close it out. If power steering is needed in the future just another mount bracket and longer belt will take care of it. First pic is chopped up V-belt and serpentine pulleys for finished system and second pic is mocked up system. Needs heavier brackets and finish welding to complete.

    An improvement LONG overdue!
Looks like a fixed idler with adjustment? Or, adjust tension with the accessories?
You will need to find a clutched fan, now...
Then package several up and sell them for fun money.

    Steve.

First, Thank you Tim, you bird dogged it out on that other site even with obscure directions. I can run most every machine but a computer and it seems that is a new trick the old dog has a hard time learning.
Steve, I would like to run a spring loaded tensioner but it's close quartered in that area on a 235. Right now tension is set with the alternator and that may be fine but I have no idea of the stretch or wear rate of a serpentine belt. May be able to rig up a spring from idler pulley arm to bracket anchored by two timing cover bolts. Open to input from others on this.
