setting door glass

whats the best way to set door glass in frame..i already have setting tape.. any glue?

I think you need to soak the tape in oil. After you have the glass and tape in the frame. All I did was pour a little oil around the top of the tape above the frame and let it set over night. The next day I cleaned them up and installed the glass in the door. I think the shop manuel goes into detail.

I didn't use anything but the tape on mine and it wasn't all that hard to set in the frame. I used a rubber mallet to persuade it a little,lol
