I recently shifted to nos hyd lifters and am having some issues getting them set properly I have 1/2 turn preload right now and when it starts it has alot of lifter clatter but after about 10 to 15 min they quite down I have 35 psi oil pressure a little less after warm up but still 20 psi at idle when warmed up most posts say 1/4 to 1 turn preload on these lifters ( the manual says 1 and 1/2 turns preload ) to set but the motor does not like that I was wondering if i should go to 3/4 turn preload to see if that quites them down right now i am running at 10 degrees BTDC 600 rpm idle carteryf 2100s and the cam is pretty stock . any advice in this mattetr would be great Thanks in advance P.S. vacuum is running at 17 hg and motor other than the cam and the lifters have 2500 miles on them since rebuild but did have cam failure so that is why I shifted to the NOS lifters and cam with no miles on them yet
