I'm converting my 49 1/2 ton from lever to conventional shocks. I bought the upper and lower mounts. Now I need to know how to locate the top mounts on the frame. The factory assembly manual shows some location dimensions on the frame checking section but there isn't enough information to accurately locate the brackets. :( Does anyone have a template or good dimensions for locating the brackets correctly. Any help is GREATY appreciated.

    TIA
    Craig

    Templates

Well I bought them and I guess they are for only the brackets that they sell. I already have the baackets from another vendor and the hole patterns in the templates don'e line up. They did send some instructions but the don't address the problem of how to reverse the template for use on the opposite side of the frame. I know he says just flip it over stupid! So I did and the hole pattern isn't even close. I will figure it out as I go with the help of the frame location measuresments in the manual and the half a**ed templates which get me close. Thanks for the response though at least someone has a template. I think I 'll copy mine when I get done and post em to the files section so others will be able to us them.:D
