    The steering on my 1957 straight axle truck is getting sloppier all the time. I have power steering, and between the two, I'm all over the road. Will new kingpins and bushings mostly correct this?

    Yes but ;

    You must remove the play from ALL the suspension bits ~ tie rod ends , wheel bearings , even the sping bushings have much to do with it ~ when the rear spring bushings get loose , the resulting 1/8" of side ways rear end movement , reverse steers the front of the whole truck like crazy .

    Each tiny bit of play , ads up .
