will sm420 work whith my 1949 1/2 ton torquetube and i may whant to go whith a open drivetrain will it work whith open drivetrain.what was the oridginal rim size 1/2 ton.thanks
SM420 Tranny Yes it will work with either open or closed driveline , the back of the tranny must be changed to suit . 16" split rims originally , I'd highly suggest using 16" Automobile rims as they're far safer .
