A guy I know has a '54 235 that he feels the oil pump is failing in ~ it's a bit of a drive for me to go there plus my physical difficulties , anyone near Simi Valley or the North San Fernando Valley know a competent and reliable shop that'd be interested in the basic job of dropping the oil pan and installing his new oil pump ? . This shouldn't be a difficult job just a messy one , time consuming to do right , one has to twiddle the pan gaskets etc. to make sure it doesn't leak when finished and so on....
Thanks Nate, Today I called Nate and asked about of he knew of someone close to me which could change out the oil pump on that 54 engine in my truck and before I could get off work Nate did for me. So is there some one out there who would/ could do this ? And Nate Thanks Again. Charles
