Spark plug

    Are those of you that have the petronics points using the copper core Autolite 303 spark plug with that system with gap at .40?

    ANY copper cored spark plug will work .

    I use .35" on my points systems and .045" or more on the Pertronix equpped systems .

    Testing the impedance of the coil and using the value Pertronix suggets , will both increase your spark's voltage and avoid those nasty failures a very few people complain about .

    FWIW , I'm quite fond of NGK's , I used to have cases of Autolite spak plgs for 235's but they all got tossed out dangit :mad: .
