spin-on oil filter for '60 261

Does anyone have any advice on installing a spin-on oil filter on a 1960 261 engine?
The lines to the stock oil filter are 3/4 inch.

Here is the thing that I found. Trying to do that is areally big waste of time. If you don't mind changing your oil more often, just pull the old filter off and plug off the holes. I know that might not be one of the best ideas in the world, but I know from experience that those original lines to the filter get brittle fast and you can lose an engine.
