spindle and break ?

the p.o. of my truck, put new spindles and disc breaks on the front, well when he did it threw the front wheels out about 21/4 inches out further than the rear, is this normal for this app. this seem a bit much, has anyone else done something similar with different results with other spindles,

What spindles and disk brake set up did the P.O. use? Do you still have torsion bar suspension? What rearend are you using? Are the front wheels 2 1/4" wider over all or 2 1/4" wider on each side? What wheels are you using and are they the same offset as the rear? We need more info.

each side is 2 1/4, everything else is still there, it has a camaro rear end, the wheels are chevy rims with the rings, and they are the same

Yeah I am just up the road / hill. Looks to me like the wheels you have on the front are pretty deep. I think if you run those wheels that they will stick out past the fender. I run a stock 15x8 truck rally and it seems to fill up the fender well. Here's some pix and a link that might help and give you some Info. I will be in Modesto on Sat. yes they are a bit deep, but with that they should track the same as the rear , right,

I'm guessing that your Camaro rearend is out of a 67-69 which is Aprox. 2" narrower than the Orig. 62 truck rearend. I think there is also too much offset in your front wheels and your tires will stick out of your fender wells by at least a couple of inches. You are using the stock suspension with disk brakes which is the same thing that I'm using so I don't think there is any problem there. http://www.quickperformance.com/Technical Info/sus_measure.htm

It looks like you have a set of custom made rallys. If you like what you have you might hang the rear fenders and see if the rear wheels fit under the fenders ok and just get a set of 15x8 rallys for the front. Deep dish wheels always look good on the rear. You also might check with Stockton wheel and see what they have. I think they make wheels there or they can at least get you what you need and they might even do some trading with you.

The conversion to disks WILL pitch the front outward but not 2 1/2 inches per side. I think normal would be about an inch and a quarter per side.
