spring rate / frontend weight

    hey guys-
    I am trying to replace the coils in my frontend and am looking for the weight of the front end or a spring rate that some used.
    it is a 51 3100 with a gen1 350 and a mustang 2 front end. I know the weight of the engine just trying to get the weight of the front of the truck.

    Go by a metal recycler's or a yard waste disposal yard and see about driving over their scale.

    300 lb springs are recommended for the sbc
