steering column help?!

    Does anyone know where i can find a breakdown drawing of a '66 non tilt manual steering column? I need to replace the bearings in mine but im not sure of the exact parts that 'should' be replaced...thanks yall

    I suggesting buying the service manual for your truck. I have a 63 and had to rebuild my steering column and boy, that book was a life saver.

    theres no good pic, not even in the origanal manual. Classic parts sent me the best pic they could come up with and it wasnt what i needed unfortunatly. i will tell you this, under the hood as the column comes throu the firewall, remove the small shield, theres bearing #1. remove steering wheel and turn signal cam, theres bearing #2. sorry im not much more help then that.
